AFC Urgent Care Ribbon Cutting

AFC Urgent Care is the newest member of our Mount Ephraim business community, opening its doors on Monday, March 17th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Carney, Commissioner Marrone, Commissioner Saban, AFC medical professionals, staff and managing partners.

American Family Care (AFC) will be open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week. Its clinical team, consisting of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, has the capacity to care for 100 patients daily. AFC is credentialed with most private insurance providers (including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna), accepts Medicare, all state Medicaid programs, workers compensation claims and provides occupational medical services for employers.

AFC also recognizes TRICARE, which allows active military members and veterans to be treated without a need for prior authorization, and the Mount Ephraim location is an approved VA medical in-network provider. This means eligible veterans can use AFC to be treated for minor injuries and illness rather than having to go to the VA for care.

Having AFC in our hometown will be a great benefit for our residents, neighbors and area businesses. We are looking forward to a long, prosperous community partnership with AFC.
