We are so excited to formally welcome the Community Cat Club to Mount Ephraim. Founded by Sara Sharp in 2021, the Community Cat Club is a non-profit that addresses the overpopulation of community cats through targeted TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts, public education, and hands-on assistance. In its short five years of operations, and CCC has already had more than 1,800 adoptions.
Mayor Carney, Commissioner Marrone and Commissioner Saban were on hand to lend their support at the ribbon cutting ceremony. They toured the newly renovated facility, which is 'purrfect' for all the sweet kittens and cats they met looking for a loving human to call their own.
The CCC officially opens its doors this morning and has fun events planned throughout the weekend to commemorate their grand opening. They still have a few openings, so come join in their celebration and check them out - and just maybe you will find a new furever friend. If you are not ready to adopt, there are other opportunities to help with the mission - fosters, food donations, funds and volunteers are needed.
Welcome to the neighborhood Community Cat Club - we just know you're going to make a pawsitive difference in our hometown. Visit CommunityCatClub.org to learn more.
